I have been on the track with 500whp Honda s2000s and i mean road course. Full stock block. The motor isn't a ticking time bomb its a work of art and they take a lot of abuse. At least 30 of the 80k miles on my s2000 was on the track and 10k of that was boosted. After I pulled the kit off still have perfect compression across all cylinders and still drive it randomly on the weekend.

Yup. The compression on all 4 is perfect. Plus he's got another bottom end he's going to build for when this one goes lol.

They really can make some good power, and respond to boost nicely.

he finally got it tuned last weekend. Made 450 hp and 355 tq on 18 psi. And made 510 @ 22 psi running c16 fuel. got some loose ends to finish up this weekend and said he wants me to be his first race. i expect to kill him the first few runs untill he gets the launch down. but after that he's gonna rape me haha.

alright well this race FINALLY happened haha

and as expected, he doesnt have traction for shit. I left him out of the hole pretty well and he was in my rearview the whole time. but as you can see he was pulling VERY hard at the end.

unfortunatly my gopro was set on photo mode and didnt realize it until i got home later so theres no video....

Wow. His trap speed puts him in the 11s. That's the thing with the s2k it was always a challenge finding that sweet spot to launch her at. Either way good run. This should mean... Your buying mods now too??? Lol

Jeez that S2K is sweet looking, and a 123 mph trap? He needs to get that traction issue down.
