I'm curious does a mid-generation refresh justice the costs of changing up the body style? Hours of aero testing, new molds for the factories, etc, I don't see how the numbers can add up.
I wouldn't count on many 6th Gen Camaro owners to trade in what they have for a slightly new body style. Furthermore, will a slight change in the body attract more customers? You think so? I got rid of my 5th Gen because I loved the curves of the new generation. I felt as if the 5th gen was a giant overweight brick with little to no curves.

Did you read any of the text at that site? Holy cow, I would not believe anything they post.

Half of those so-called "car sites" try and perpetuate goofy community Photoshopped cars as actual GM concepts or whatnot. I don't believe a damned thing that they post. That "chevelle" that someone photoshopped out of a Challenger is another maddening one. Even got into an argument with one kid who said he'd seen it in person and it was real.

I've wondered if the cooling needs of the LT1 drove up the price of 6th gen SS. The LS3 has plenty enough power to make the 6th gen sit up and bark without the need for extra heat management. |

Molds wear out and have to be replaced. Why not make improvements when the opportunity presents instead of throwing new cap-ex money at old designs...?

2. That is a fake news, foreign click bait site. Tons of those out there when trying to search for new yet unreleased cars. Note the broken English, poor grammar, etc. Don't fall for that nonsense. |
