Thanks for the info. Now all I have to do is buy it along with my Pfadt Sport sway bars by CFII.

Do a search for catch can. Use the title only button. SC2150 has a few different threads on this can and the cost.

So we can expect a slight performance increase because of the change in how the engine would alter the timing when it sensed the presence of oil? Maybe not significant or even in the butt dyno but maybe in better MPGs or even a reduction in the black mess around the exhaust tips?

You can clean it all pretty good with a seafoam treatment....but at any mileage it is a good mod.

As for the power increase, if the ECM is pulling timing due to the detonation the oil ingestion causes then yes, and MPG should improve. If it is not then don't expect any power increase.

Price is $139 for the single valve can and $39 for the matching breather kit.

$15 S&H.

Whats the difference between the single and the dual check valve model?
I have a V6 if that matters.

Single valve is what you need then. Dual is for FI or big cube NA builds.

I figured the single valve is what I need, just wanted to be sure. Thanks, I just ordered mine.

Now if I bought a dual valve can now, because I am saving for a SC will it still work or do I need a single valve?

So I am totally lost in this whole mess. I have about zero mech know how (ok alil more then that.)
I too bought the dual valve check catch can... I wanted the best for my car and did not see anything saying the dual check was for FI. Which valve is the secondary?

I see in the instructions for the dual check valve system http://www.revxtreme.com/instruction...lve_centri.pdf one says to intake manifold and one goes to crank case, and the third would be the one I cap? And just to be sure, the crank case is the tube shown in the first picture here? http://www.revxtreme.com/instructions/cc_v6camaro.pdf

I am so lost. I have had this catch can since BEFORE i got my new car and have not had the guts to go ahead and cut anything to install it yet.

just installed this tonight, just double checking, the hose that to the left of the IM, is that supposed to be hissing all throughout the hose? like i run my ear down the length of the hose and hear hissing? thought it might be a leak but maybe not? i could not get the hose more than maybe 3/8-1/2 an inch on the plastic tubes...thought i was going to give myself a hernia! is that going to be a problem down the road? if they're not pressurized then i would think not but i'm just paranoid
