resonator delete with stock mufflers?

has anyone did a resonator delete and kept the stock muffler on? curious to know if any good sound came out of it? not looking for a aftermarket exhaust system.. just a little bit more sound out of the stock mufflers..

I had headers, HF cats Xpipe with resonator delete and stock mufflers. It was very raspy and awful sounding in my opinion. Better than stock, I guess but I couldn't wait to put axle-backs on and now it's sounding good. You can see and hear what it sounds like with stocks and the headers if you search YouTube for ParisTNDude...I did videos before and after.

Here's some comparable sounding cars with it.

I've always wondered what the V6 Camaro would sound like with this done.
