Anyone have any way to cover up the seat rails?
I would like to dress up the seat rails, anyone know of a good way to do this? I would think that GM would have created some sort of "moveable cover" that goes back and forth with the seat that would also cover the rails.
Any ideas?

I don't even know what seat rails are. Are you talking about the tracks the seats move in on the floor?

Why do you want to cover them?

They're not even noticeable.

Not sure about yours, but when I get into my car, this is what I see. (Don't mind the dirt on the floor mats.)

Honestly I'd be more bothered by how dirty the car is.

I cleaned it all up on Saturday, but with the rain and stones, this is Monday morning for me. She is getting a vaccum and clean as soon as I get out of work....

If thats how your floor looks every 3 days...please dont worry about how the seat tracks look...nobody will notice!! I think you need to focus on installing retractable boot brushes somewhere!! Or spend the money on a different car to go muddin in....like a 4x4!!

So I would assume that you do not have any suggestions then.

if it really bothers you, you could hit the salvage yard and see what cars use covers that might work. there are only 3 big seat suppliers... some of the parts are standard among them all. I'm sure that supplier offers a cover that might snap on or you can mod to work. maybe check out some higher end cars like corvette, cadillacs, etc. My '97 BMW has covers.
other idea I had was maybe try to cover with carpet... seems like they sell this same black nylon carpet at most hardware stores. |

Honestly, The seat tracks is not a big deal to me. I would suggest to not look down when you get in. If you feel you REALLY need to cover them. Maybe use some type of cloth sleeve you'd have to make. If you do that though, you will be placed on my crazy person list

I can't think of anything that wouldn't look out of place.
