Trunk Capacity
I know people are complaining about the lack of usable trunk space with the vert but I found it to be more than adequate for a 3-4 day weekend for two people.
A couple of canvas bags fit nicely under the the top with a decent amount of storage in the rest of the trunk. I wouldn't pack the car for a 7 day trip but I feel it is more than adequate for a long weekend. I think the key to maximizing trunk space is soft sided luggage that will conform to the trunk. What do you guys have to say? -Funk

Yeah, yeah. I am married too but she has agreed to make concessions based on the trunk capacity.

As a Harley rider I think the trunk on my Vert is huge.

Room for 2 sets of golf clubs, or one set and my folding push cart. Plenty for me.

photos of two sets of clubs...please! I cannot get my walking bag in there with the driver in it...interested to see what kind of bag you are using.

I'll let you know...5 day trip leaving on Sept 12th to head to Tail of the Dragon to break Beauty in right! We were discussing today...soft sided bags, my camera bag and some cleaning supplies in the trunk and coolers behind the seats in the back. Luckily don't have to bring the car show chairs!

isn't the small trunk why GM put in a back seat? my bags will fit great there.

I will post pics next time I put them in the trunk. I have to take the driver and woods out of the bag and angle them caty-corner towards the back and they will slide in. I put the bags in first, then the woods. If I only take one bag and the cart, I put the clubs in first then the cart.

Went with my (16YO) daughter for a 17 day road trip across Newfoundland. All baggage in the trunk (including bicycling gear). And a bike (Cannondale Hooligan) in the back seat. Top down whenever it wasn't raining.
And then - wait for it --my wife bused out to Quebec City to accompany us the last three days on the way back. Her three night bag in the trunk, the Hooligan turned sideways in one of the rear seats, my wife in the other, and the top down. If it didn't fit, it didn't come! Yellow vert 2SS RS |
