They installed really easy and they look stock. Very nice quality product. For me, it was worth the price. |

I haven't updated this thread in a while, so I thought I would take a second to share my Saturday's events. Ever since getting my ZL1 I wanted to figure out a way to install a LED scanner like most SS owners are putting in their mailslot. After much internal debating I figured out a way to do this and found the perfect product from AAC- their dual 15" LED V2.0 scanners. In order to mount them I needed a custom system, to which I designed my own. I don't want to divulge too much of the details yet on my mounting solution, but I will say that it is very stealth and looks awesome. Unfortunately, I cannot share pictures due to some issues I had with the scanner bar itself preventing me from installing a working unit.
To make a long story short though, I spent my Saturday morning removing my front fascia with the help of a friend, which is time-consuming due to the number of screws and bolts holding it all on there! After getting my mounting system installed and the wiring ran, I tested the scanners to make sure everything worked properly before putting the car back together. They did not. They had worked perfectly in all of my tests, but for some reason they did not work now that I had them ready to install. I did not have red on one bar and the colors did not match on the other. Needless to say I was frustrated!! This was my second set of scanners to start with, with the first ones being replaced under warranty by AAC due to faulty LED's. In this case, it turned out that one of the wires had pulled out of the connector to the control box!! I contacted AAC and purchased another set, and I will be returning this one for a warranty claim again. My concern is that they will not replace it under warranty since I tried to fix it myself since I had the car apart. I would even pay to have it repaired since it seems like a simple fix. I guess we will see. Either way, I won't get my 4 hours back! I was able to install my real carbon fiber bowties that i bought a few months ago from tjk_art and I got my stock tires and wheels back on the car. It was the first time I had seen the stock wheels on it since getting my calipers powdercoated red, so I was happy with final look! The stock black wheels just complete the car in my opinion. I still have a bunch more mods coming, so please keep checking back! To give you a taste of what's coming next I will give you the following info- New LED controllers & complete LED system upgrade LED scanners (as mentioned above) Carbon Fiber spoiler Cold Air Intake More engine bay painted goodies Subwoofer Install Thanks for stopping by. I hope to have some new photos avaialble soon! |

Honestly the best looking camaro, in my opinion. I love the color so much that I wish they had it when I got my camaro. Every single mod that you have done to your car has come out absolutely awesome! Keep up the great work man

I had a photo shoot last weekend with a friend of mine from work. He took about 400 pics at 4 different locations and just sent me the first one, so I thought I would share it here! I will be posting more, but i thought i would give you all a little sneak preview!
