Installed my Corsa and C.A.I. CAI!!! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

WOOO HOOOO!!! Finally got the C.A.I. CAI in and it was cake to install!

I was really excited about that and then the very next day, yesterday, the Corsa Exhaust came in!!

So i installed that too and WOOOO HOOOOO am I a happy man! Now i need the rain

to stop so i can purdy her up and I will be good to go!

EXHAUST!

CAI! You cant hear much on this but you can hear some of the WONDERFUL sucking sound!

I got the corsa too, sounds pretty good. What intake did you go with?

Do you notice your Corsa exhaust popping on deceleration? I have the same set up CAI/ exhaust and I wonder if it is common?

All SS's do this. It's a method in the engine that helps to improve fuel economy. It just gets amplified a lot with the Corsa.

I was curious because Corsa makes a point of their pipe setup eliminating this ... just making sure I didn't install something wrong. Thanks!

Yes I have the same noise. I kinda like it. I always thought it was just a little bit of extra fuel popping off, I didnt think it was anything that was to improve fuel economy though. Hmmm... learn something new every day.

You can tune this noise out. For the time being just live with it until you get your headers and then you can tune everything at one time. That noise drives me nuts. Can wait to get rid of it.

I dont mind the noise. It isnt that bad, however, after a little while it might get annoying. We will see.

I have this set up and yes I have popping. I also have a Diablo tune and the popping is a little worse on decel. Very noticeable power increases though.

That it did!!! I got it on Saturday at about 130ish and had it on the car and rumbling by 4!
