Did GM want this car to have straight line performance or have all around performance. When you get your answer then ask yourself, what other vehicle out there can you get with the pricing of the ZL-1 with that same type of performance.
What the forum is for get over it. I think the numbers are good from what i have seen but hey as long as people have opinions people are going to whine. Kinda like the supercharger on the car.

well i am a happy camper. I was not on any list. I walked into the local dealer & asked if he had one available & he said yes i just hung with a buyer who dosen't want his & it's out back. Traded my 2010 lingenfelter Grand Sport vette for it. Although the ZL1 won't put 560 hp to the ground i can tell you right now it out handles the vette. A tune & a pully change will be all that's necessary to get it there

Ok, off topic but heres the video my dealer took of my ZL1 at the dealership. This was not the car I ordered, but it came in as dealer stock after the original buyer dropped out and it was offered to me a week after I dropped my order...enjoy...

thats great that youll pass your zl1 onto your son. Congrats to you!

This is a recurring problem. When a new performance vehicle comes out, this always happens. People should remember that vehicles have a break-in period before they start arguing that GM's numbers are low. Moreover, they should be grateful the ZL1 exists when there wasn't really a need for one to motivate sales. This is a product of GM enthusiasts working for GM. If this company were entirely run by people without a passion for the machines they create, we'd all be driving something else.

How good is that! Terrific video! Nice nice car! Those guys said it, they've been "waiting for something like this since 1970". I say, Tom, you did the right thing in getting this. The opportunity may not come again for 42 more years for something of this magnitude. And you know, by then, we'll be in outer space somewhere.

Handles better than a GS. Maybe at first impression...but that is impressive if so...I'd be curious the scenario at 10/10ths though.
