Is the no tune kit the tuner kit? Just trying to understand the difference between the tune and no tune kit.

Does the full kit work with 91 octane fuel?

Curious, the kit puts out 5.5 psi and you advertise 6 psi on main kit. I assume its probably the same psi, but does the intercooler really cool the charged air enough to squeeze another 50hp out?

Yes that is correct, the "tuner" kit does not include the SCT handheld for programming. If you plan to tune yourself or maybe already have an HP tuner (we can send you the cal), then you can use the "tuner" kit.

Positive displacement blowers pump a fixed amount of air-mass governed by the SC speed and SC inlet conditions. Boost is dependent on SC speed, SC outlet air temp and engine restriction; the better your charge coolers are working the lower your boost pressure in the manifold will be at a given SC speed (the same amount of air mass). Not sure if I was clear there, just let me know if more explanation is needed |

Being that my car is in Florida, does the fact of this kit not having an intercooler have any influence on increasing engine temps.
Would a one range lower thermostat be helpful? or maybe a cold air intake? Over 500 hp at the rear wheels would make this car a beast.

In my opinion, it would be a mistake to install a supercharger with no intercooler in your area (hot) on a street car. Look at the issues people are having with the Edlebrock, which has an intercooler, just one that's not quite as good as it should be. Then go all the way to no intercooling at all?

We are proud to be a Magnuson supercharger dealer, and have been for 10+ years.
I spent quite a bit of time discussing the current and future product available from Magnuson and I can tell you I could not be more excited with the direction Magnuson is going. We discussed this particular supercharger system at length and you can rest assured that this system is solid, and safe, and maintains Power levels well above stock in any conditions. The same conditions that affect power production is not bias, it affects both N/A and boosted equally. This is a great entry level supercharger with the option that you can grow in to much higher power levels quite easily and for only slightly more than purchasing the intercooled kit. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. Ted.

The two kits are designed differently and I doubt you'd have the same IAT issues with the Heartbeat. Now the heat of Florida could cause IAT issues even with an intercooler. It would be a good starter kit and you could install it in the winter and upgrade when summer arrives and give some time to save some more cash for the additional costs.

Will a non-intercooled kit possibly cause an overheating scenario. Mind you my car is a weekend car.....sometimes driven in the extreme Florida heat. I think the main attraction to an intercooler is max power at all times........ Not really sure if that is a priority for me. Just looking to make car more interesting. This would be my first conversion to supercharging and while I consider myself fairly well versed in mechanical knowledge, supercharging would be a new venture for me. I am not looking for a high boost application, just a little more "fun". I would probably run a cold air intake and cooler thermostat (180) on the vehicle to try and mitigate any Heatsoak. Educate me

None intercooled may just be your ticket for a weekend runner. You could also add Alky injection to cool the charge entering the intake which in turn should give you lower IAT's.
