you might want to verify the dealer is actually looking at YOUR order...promising a VIN soon when you have two other sources saying you're at 1100 is a little weird

Wow that is ridiculous, I would be pissed too. My dealer was very vague about my car's status, but at least they weren't blowing smoke up my ass. I only check with Becky now. She is much more informative than my dealer and a sweetheart. Sorry to hear they are putting you through this.

Agreed man!! There must be somethig slowing down your order. Mine was placed 10/8 and I got my TPW of 11/12 today. I also added the RS package a week after the order was accepted by GM, which sent be back to 2000 for almost a week. AGM 2SS/RS 1LE NPP

Lol, something slowing it down? Last I checked, these cars ARE still on constraint...and being that GM is making them for the "2%ers" I imagine any dealer would only have an allocation for one or two, tops.

I really can't imagine any dealer intentionally blowing that kinda smoke...that would just be incredibly stupid to piss off your customer like that. Then again, "soon" is a subjective term...I would call them back and go over the details...

Just got off the phone with my dealer. This is what he said he placed a new order for me with a priority code of 0. He said they messed up with the first order retail stock with a priority of 99 which is now at the 2 level. So now I have two orders for a 1LE under my name in asheen grey metallic with nnp exhaust , rs package and navigation. I told him about my private offer which expires 10/31/12 for $1,000 and said he would make good for it.

Forgot to mention , my second order is at 3000 and he said it should move to 3300 by this comming tuesday which is good news. I aslo asked him if hes going to cancel the original order and said no we are keeping it. Now im back in the game!

My order was finally accepted by GM in mid August. TPW was 10/22. She was built last week on schedule. Becky says Built and Bayed. Chevy Site now says shipped 10/27.
Excited to get the new one but feeling a little remorse about my 2010 1SS being traded.
Sure hope the 1LE is all it is hyped to be.

Thats awesome man! If mine was shipped I would be even more excited that I am now to have just been updated with my TPW. I amsure the remorse will be extremely short lived once you get you 2013 1LE. You are going to love her just as much as your 2010, and probably more!

Spent all morning removing mods off the vert Sayin goodbye to this car is harder than I thought it would be... and looking at the unmodified engine bay now is just weird.
