Better -- but even darker still.....
or richer? I wouldn't want it to look black -- but that still seems bright

not really. i saw a purple on the HHR a while back, and it would look good on the Camaro.

I'm not fond of it either but a deeper, richer imperial purple metallic would be bitchin'. A raging hot pink one with black trim would be more my style (being female and all).

If I had my choice... I'd have polished chrome paint and drive it on the expressways at dawn and dust right in to the Sun... Then, maybe I wouldn't have to sit in traffic.

I Love The GRILL, hate the color! its too bright. the darker shade is good though.

Way too bright. I don't think that would even work for a Female edition car. A deep purple maybe even with a hint of blue in it could maybe work, but otherwise no.
