Help Me understand.. Why would you want a thin later of sponge??

To make it more pillow-y? Or what? I think it would be difficult because if you pulled suede around the sponge t will smoosh down and probably look a little frumpy if you don't have it universal.. Also the sponginess over time would probably slowly push outward tugging on the adhesive.

Not sure.

One way to find out is to do it.

I have also had people ask me the same question. I guess if it has a little bit of a foam backing it makes to easier to wrap some more curvy or complex pieces. I used 3m super 90 spray and haven't had any problems with bubbling. Have you thought about doing the center console at all?

Weird...

Yeah mine has been completely secure.. Not sure.

I have thought about it but not exactly sure how.

What "center console" are you referring to?

The shifter surround or the piece you rest your arm on that opens up?

I have one more question.. How much did pay for the suede? The only place I found that had has it for $60/yard.
