Well...
Apparently I just discovered at around 6 this morning that there is something very wrong with my car. tire sensor comes on saying tire had no air in it, got out to check tire, it had air in it. drove another 1 1/2 mile, came to a traffic light, light turned green, then the car jolted and shuttered real bad when I gave it gas. pulled into my work parking lot, got out to check tire again, it was extremely hot and it looked like all sorts of weird sh*t going on up under the car.
thank god, it's going in for tune-up today at 8:30. so, a touch up on my problem: 01. TPMS was acting all sorts of funky 02. Car shutters like some sort of spaz 03. Tire is hot, and suspension and such looks crazy |

I would suggest that you stop driving it then.
When the tire reads ZERO pressure...it is flat. Did you check it with a hand held guage? Tire is hot because of a lack of air and increased friction caused by a flat tire, based on what you have told us. This is also causing the suspension to look crazy...as there is no air pressure in the tire. Shuddering like a spaz is caused by that whole zero pressure thing...again, based on what you told us your TPMS says. Good luck.

These tires can look like they have air when they're almost flat. I had this problem after running over a nail. Trust that monitor and back up the reading by always checking with a hand held gauge.

I keep a hand held gauge in the glove box for that very reason.

Do you have the spare tire? if so put it on if your driving it.

My thoughts exactly. Good luck with the fix.

Yes, me too. I trust the hand held gauge more than the TPMS. The TPMS is nice when driving because it shows real time pressure on all 4 corners but I always check the cold air pressure with my hand held gauge. FWIW, I've noticed the TPMS shows air pressures that are approx. 3 PSI less than what my hand held shows.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of TPMS because it is 1 more electronic device that could go wrong. Plus, I have a habit of checking air pressure at almost every gas fill up so I always have an idea of what my pressure is.
