The exhaust baffles are open at startup with or without the exhaust commander on the ZL1. I have one on my car and it only makes a difference above 1000 RPM when the baffles would be ordinarily closed.

On the exhaust commander will that close the baffles for you when they should normally be open. The reason that I ask is there are times that I would like to have that function. I have modded my car and it can be a bit to loud and would like to tone it down some coming into the nieghberhood etc. I know the mild to wild only allows you to only open the valves but not the reverse function. Thx

Z4Me - Only ADM offers a "stealth" setup at the moment that I am aware of. Others, including myself, are working on a DIY version.

I forgot, Sunset Orange Creations makes a custom exhaust controller that allows you to determine at what rpm the butterfly valves open. However, i think it costs a couple hundred bucks (note: im not talking about the "ZL1 Exhaust Commander")

They may call the stock shifter a short throw shifter but it is still too long of a shift IMHO.I have the Hurst in mine and it is a much better and shorter throw than stock.
