can't open door

So I had my handle removed and my door fully shut now I can't open the door even from the inside handle. How should I go about fixing this problem?

Did you remove the interior door panel during the install?

The interior door panel? Yes. I've done it a dozen times or so.

I've got it popped away from to sill a bit but I can't get to the door latch because it is on the other side of the window.

Why remove the handle and close the door without testing it?

Or you can climb out the window.

Well I fixed the problem back during Thanksgiving Break. Figured id get back to here in case anyone else has the same problem.

Because the red between the handle and the latch was fixed in place, I just had to cut the thin rod and pull up on the latch half. Opened right up. Just had to rig the cut rod so that it stayed in line and was still stiff.
