Ugh, stuck in my own driveway...

So I might have waited too long to get her into storage. We had snow, again, and a layer of ice is down on the driveway and neighborhood roads (hills). Low temps pepper the potential forecast for the near future. I couldn't get my trailblazer out in 2WD this AM and it's running blizzaks! I can't get a running start at the driveway with where it's parked. With the Camaro in the garage I can.

Hoping for a little warm up. I'd hate to have to use ice melt and a ton of gravel just to get it out of the driveway and then go put it in storage. Send warmth my way up here in Alaska. Once she's tucked in and I have my house garage space back it can snow all it wants .

That's why I LOVE THE SOUTH! Here in Georgia, we had a low of 58 and a high of 78.

You could always get your blow dryer out with an extension cord. You'll look crazy but I'm sure once you explain yourself people will be more understanding.

Took a 8 day Alaskan cruise this May. Sure do miss the beauty of your state, not looking forward to that stuff making it's way down here. Maybe some activated charcoal if it's sunny?

You could hope for more snow to cover the ice and give you something for traction to get out. Sorry, I feel for you. I can't make fun of you too much, I have to drive mine year round in Minnesota, so I could be in that situation myself in the near future.

Sending warm thoughts your way. And remember, spring is only 8 months away.

LOL - usually i don't mind that . Now with the new ride, it seems sooooo far away! Some good ideas, thanks. 20 degrees this AM , though they are calling for 36 degrees this weekend! I will remain optomistic. If not, it'll be a hole shot and launch from the garage and hope the momentum gets me to the top of the driveway .

On top of it all, this place is still an amazing place to live. All in all this a small price to pay for the lifestyle I get to live up here.

Here is a pic from this weekend that I took from from my front lawn .

And a buddy of mine and I mtn biking with a black bear .
