Yep, mine started doing it. My wife has a huge vinyl cutter though so I’m just going to get her to make me some more.

My 2016 is doing great back with GM and 2018 has been good with no problems...

Same. Red letters are looking bad.

To OP:

Between 2016 and 2017, both are really the same car. 2017 just hasn't been out long enough to highlight all the issues.

I would go with the 2016 at this point, for the best deal possible. Then mod with extra funds or plan to save for next gen.

We all plan to keep these cars when we get them, but that new model always calls us back in a few years.

I orders my car in 2015 got it in 2016 have had it for 2 years now with 30,000 miles and have had no issues, with the exception of a cracked oil sensor and that was just a flux.

Of course that's an issue, but GM was pretty sure it got cracked at the motor plant. It just worked until I drove it off the lot. It had 3 miles on it. If it would have been a car on the lot someone else would have run into it. So it wasn't a car issue, rather an engine issue.
