Interior looks very clean, any specific reason you're running no floor mats? I am too, I just don't feel like shelling out 90 bucks for SLP ones :(

I run without mats because the only time I did (coming home brand new to me) I wound up with them going 'toyota' and bunching up behind the pedals. More or less a safety thing so that I have nothing bunched behind the brake and clutch. Need to pull the carpet and install a hook or something to arrest the mats since the nubs that are supposed to hold them in place.. Don't..? Once I pulled the drivers mat, I pulled them all and now they're sitting in a bag in my closet nice and clean. Speaking of floors and mats, I've discovered a new issue and now may have caught a BS call on the body guy. I go to wash the car and instead of the T-Tops draining out of their normal ports.. they drained right down the inner panels and onto my carpet. No seal issues, nothing obviously out of place to say "yep, there's yer problem" Yet I've got one wet spot on either side of the car the size of a dollar bill on the carpet. So now she's parked unless I know it won't rain for sure, and if it does I just line the panels with towels and pray.. |

Oh, and on the side: Found a clean, no damage, 99 V6 Mystic Teal bird with a blown 3800 at the yard down the street from work. Asked how much they wanted for the car outright w/o motor and they said 2K, 3300ish with a clean 3800 motor.
Probably won't last more than a week before it's in pieces and all over the country. Would have made a great DD/winter vehicle. :( |

I need to look into emblem pros bullet engraved shock tower plates. Mine are starting to peel. Oh, any idea why a lamp motor would work on and off at random yet the headlights work? Fuse or motor?

the gears are stripped in the motor. the stock ones are plastic, you can either rotate the stock ones 180* and use the other half that is still good or, (since you are in there anyway) get the metal replacements and swap them out.

Mine were grinding, and the flip trick worked. If they start again I'll just have to get the brass ones. lol

http://www.rodneydickman.com/n113.html another slightly cheaper place. $50.00 is about the going price but Rodney has them cheaper if you buy the pair

Installing a LED banner with keyboard in the cab so you can type messages? Interesting...
