Custom Plates

I'm thinking about getting custom plates and wanted to know what everyone thought of these two?

- POPONO
- OOFAST - This will be on a Texas Plate that has a "T" in front of the plate number so it would read "TOOFAST"

What do you guys think? Am I asking for trouble with these?

Custom plates always mean trouble.

1. Cops are attracted to them
2. Easy for people to remember later after they road rage at you
3. Most just aren't that great

You are right about cops being attracted to them, last week a couple of state troopers came over to my car wanting to check it out, they loved it and one said, "this made up my mind-i am buying one" He was curous as to why I chose KEG for my plate. (it is my initials) he said it was a great choice.

1. You're kidding right? My buddy has "HI OFCR' as his tag on his vette... cops LOVE it.
2. If they have road rage.. they shouldn't be on the damn road.
3. To each, his own... maybe THEY think it's great.

I think the custom plates are very cool. I love reading what others come up with. I don't think they attract the attention of police anymore than any other plate. Police are constantly looking at plates to see the sticker date. They really don't care what your plate says unless you have an out of date sticker, tinted cover, plate so dirty it can't be read, or a frame that covers your registration sticker.

This comes from my brother in-law who patrols the streets in his cruiser daily.

My vote is TOOFAST................ but you need to make sure the car fits the plate........ I think a nice YSI should do the trick

I'm trying come up with a nickname for my SS. It's black with yellow stripes so it's the opposite of Bumblebee from transformers. I've thought of names like Beebumble but that doesn't sound good and Thunderbee just sounds nerdy
