Depends on ur area. Like here in west tx. You pay a premium plus a markup. Take it or leave it. You can go to Dallas and buy it for several thousand cheaper but like my friends found out when it needs dealer service the local dealers turn you away or put you on a long list cuz you didn't buy from them.

I know a Vert is more expensive option to start with, but this seems a little much.

Just in case anyone asks, the Shelby will be paid by the end of the year so it's staying.
$5k below MSRP looks like an okay deal. Are you guys seeing much better than that?

That car has been there a while. I was actually at the dealership yesterday, as a friend was test driving the SS sedan. Have you looked at the other dealer in town? They have a few 2013 ZL1's.

NO, didn't shop around too much yet.
Was just passing by and it caught my eye and pulled in to get a closer look.

Planning to do more research next week to see what's available in the area first.

Definitely not black.
Would rather a grey or white color.

I love it when dealers hold on to inventory so long because they think they have something special.

the reason they have that car is at one point they were asking way more than that. I see like 60k tops sitting there.

Car deprciate even if they are low miles. you could proabably order a 14 at that price.

Just for grins, I just built a FULLY loaded ZL1 convertible on the Chevrolet site, and including $2000.00 cash back, the MSRP is $72,575.00.

that would make the MSRP $74,575.00
Again, that's with EVERY possible option checked on their build-it site.

just a game, when you go to trade it in someday, he will do the same thing, just in reverse. Tell you "they just are not bring the money" , "market flooded with Zl1" "inventory isn't moving", they have a line and a story for everything, just understand the game and you will do well. best wishes.

The dealer by me still wants sticker minus rebates for the 13 ZL1's.

A good friend of mine wanted a camaro but had a limited budget. He was looking into a brand new 2013 convertible v6. Normally you would expect '13s to be way cheaper since the '14s are already out but this car in particular is a fully loaded one.

(mind you, I am a camaro noob and don't know the difference between packages and their names ie 1SS 2SS or whatever the v6 one is branded as)

I am not from the US. Prices over there are cheaper of course but my ZL1 coupe has all the options and I got it for roughly $64k. This particular v6 would usually sell for $42k here and the dealer had it down to $40k which is still way too much for it. I kept on trying to get the price down for my friend but the dealer just didn't want to go any lower so my buddy lost interest in the car and two months later, they kept on calling me and now decided to sell for $36k. A week later they called again and said $35k.
Seemed to me like they were desperate to sell.
I don't get why they got greedy but it's their loss. Till this day, the same v6 is sitting at the showroom and I am told that the price is even lower now.

My advice would be to leave your number, make them an offer and just leave. When they get sick of their old stock, they'll start being desperate to sell eventually.

Due to our market place we sell vehicles at invoice pricing minus incentives. I sold a fully loaded 2013 V6 Camaro 2LT with the RS package last week for 29K+tax, tags hahah!

Looks like I will put the search on hold for a couple months.
Between finding a deal I'm satisfied with and work being done at the house, I don't want to totally wipe out the savings.

I was just quoted $18,500 for inground pool work to be done.
Resurface Gunite pool
paint pool
change tiles
change light to multi color
swap from chlorine system to salt water system
flush all pool piping system

Tried to convince wife to just fill it with dirt being that the last 2 years we maybe swam in it 10 times total, but she wants it for when the grandkids come over.
