Heritage Grill Criticism.

So I went to the bodyshop today, and had conversations with a couple of guys at the shop.
Upon seeing my heritage grill, one of the guys instantly began to criticize the grill.

He was saying things like,
"the stock grill looks meaner!"
"the heritage grill has too much going on"
"that's old school for a reason... grills like that should stay in the past. it messes up such a modern car"

It got me a little upset, I'm not going to lie.

But do any of you guys agree?
I'm just really curious as to what you guys think about the grill and and the comments the guy made.

It is your car; if you like it that is all that matters. Tell the jerk off that if he does not like it he does not need to look at it end of story.

Oh don't get me wrong, i absolutely LOVE my grill. its painted black to match my car, and it's emblem-less.i think it looks fantastic.

I was just wondering what you guys think about his comments, particularly about it messing up a modern car and whether the stock grill looks meaner.

Well on the SS the Heritage Grill goes better with the front fascia than the stock one just due to the fact that the bottom grill is nearly identical, but as everyone has said who gives a crap what this douchenozzle thinks it's your car and if you like it that's all that matters. I personally hated the stock grill on my car and destroyed it in the process of taking it off my car....

It's just his opinion. If you did a poll on here not everybody would think the heritage grille messes up a modern car or that the stock grille looks meaner. You can put however much stock into what the guys said all you want, but they don't own it....or a Camaro from what I gather...so you've got the upper hand on the opinions of what looks best and what belongs best on your Camaro.

Absolutely; i'll PM you a picture in the next few days!

and it wasn't the joking, messing-around criticism.
It was the harsh, stern, serious criticism. so it kind of bothered me a little bit.

I like the heritage grill, but I do think I like the stock grill better. I feel like the heritage grill makes the car look a bit closer to a Mustang front end. Thats just my opinion and I say to each his own. Do what you want to your car thats what makes it yours.

I like it so much, I ordered it with the car, don't really care for the stock grill, best thing about ordering the Heritage grill and the painted engine cover is the dealer gave me the stock items after installation of the custom items....
