I recenlty bought a titleless 1952 Ford F-3 Crew Cab and I got quoted about $3000 for a bonded title. Seems kinda steep. Guy I bought it from said it would be about $300 or less. Truck is ultra rare and I would like to title it.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have no clue but do you plan on restoring it?

have bill of sale & go to the DOL & ask to get a title, they should be able to do it.

Instructions

Applying for a Texas Title
1

Write down the license plate number and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) from the vehicle. The VIN plate can usually be found on the dash of the car, and is visible through the windshield on the driver's side.

Go to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles website and download an "Application for a Certified Copy of Title" form. You can fill out the form online, then print it out. You can also print the form first and fill it out by hand, if you prefer. Don't forget to sign the form.

To apply by mail, send the completed Application for a Certified Copy of Title form, a copy of your photo ID, and a check or money order for the fee made out to TxDMV addressed to your local regional office. If you're applying in person, take the form and your photo ID to your county tax office with the required payment in form of cash, check, or money order
