Another Rear End Story!
Just sitting at the stop light at my exit on my evening commute, look up in the mirror in time to see a blurr of silver durango before the smash of him crumpling my rear end!!
It just figures, own a handful or POS cars over the years and nye a scratch, finally get the dream car and blam. I guess cars and sunglasses have something in common, except I haven't actually lost the car yet,,,, yet! Drove about a block to a gas station after the State Patrol arrived and the rear end was loping up and down. I'm just hoping it can be brought back up to it's former glory! A real shame to have it barely 6 months and to potentially face the rest of it's ownership of problems!! The Meeting Mashed rear end Crumpled Trunk lid Innocent law abiding position! |

Are the rear quarter panels affected? If so your not looking at just bolt-ons. also how's the rear glass?

He's sitting at a STOP light... that means STOP no matter if the person STOPPED at the STOP light has their brakes on or not.

Sucks the good news everything looks repairable just from looking you need the following.
-Deck lid -Spoiler -Rear bumper cover -Bumper absorber -New stripes -rear diffuser Estimated cost $3200 is what my guess would be. Good luck keep us posted.

Doesn't look like there was any damage to the rear quarter panels, the rounded durango front end sort of fint in between them and the rear glass seems fine as well.

Sucks that car who hit you looked pretty old just by the head lights. Looks like you got more damage then the car that hit you.

I'll be happy if the frame is unaffected, that's my biggest fear!
