Locked keys in car
Hey guys I managed to lock my keys in the car and can't find my spare anyone know how to get them out

i wouldn't do that. your car will get torn up.. id just get the onstar. you'd find some kind of use for it...

Didn't you save your key code?? A lock smith or a dealer should be able to make a key from that # ... if you didn't save the key code maybe GM could get key code from your vin in the AM??? ... and than remember to get another key made .... I always have 4 keys for each of my vehicles .... just incase ..=))

You may be screwed. There was some one at the Fest that locked there keys in his ZL1 and had not activated his Onstar yet. They got a locksmith and were there for hours, I don't know what they ended up doing. I suggested busting the window and cover it with the insurance. Good Luck!!

Onstar will open it as a one time courtesy, but even if you had to join for a month that's still cheaper than a new spare, and cheaper and less damaging than a locksmith. Use Onstar.

Yeah...that whole sign up over the phone thing doesn't work. Lets just say I found that out at the fest this year.
 they will tell you, you have to push the blue button and there is nothing they can do, besides get roadside assistance out there and be careful to watch them around your trim.Sent from my Galaxy Note |
