Here is an added adventure for any one interested. A good friend of mine, Randy Shelton, who works for Ford in Dearborn has invited those of us interested on a tour of the the Model T Automotive Heritage Complex at the Ford Piquette Avenue plant in Detroit.
The plant was built in 1904 and is the birthplace of the Model T. The first 12,000 were built there. Randy restores Model Ts and As and has several of his vehicles in this center, where he also gives tours. The plan is to do this Friday afternoon around 2:00 and admission is $10. Anyone interested let me know. Details about the facility can be found here.
