paint code confusion-a little help please
Okay, I'm still confused. The above sticky about paint codes says:
Red Jewel Tricoat 80/WA301N #1 I thought it was called: Red Jewel Tintcoat. That is what it says on my window sticker and on my build sheet it says: GAQ - Red Jewel Tintcoat. #2 In my trunk it says BC/CC U301N I googled GM paint codes by year & found this: 2010GMRed Jewel GAQ, 80C X WA301N90858971323, 49762tinted CC So what is the paint code? I need to know for sure because I am having some wheels painted to match.

Indeed, it is WA301N
Though some places will list it without the WA BB/CC indicates basecoat/clearcoat - the U on the sticker indicates Upper body color... There would be an L number to ndicate lower color for two tone vehicles. the tintcoat/tricoat is just a naming difference... the GAQ is the option code for the Red Jewel paint.
