Help with Codes
My CEL came on today. I scanned the codes and cam up with these.
P0420-Catalyst system efficiency below threshold Bank 1 P0430-Catalyst system efficiency below threshold Bank 2 P1133-Bank 1 Fuel control shifted lean (FAOSC) (see pg. 2096) P1153-Bank 2 Fuel control shifted lean (FAOSC) (see pg. 2098) I have LT headers and a tune. What would cause this? I thought maybe a bad O2 sensor, but both banks are bad. I lowered the car and recently rubbed the exhaust on a speed bump. I think this may be th ecause but what component is the issue? It doesn't sound like there are any exhaust leaks. Thanks.

With both banks showing a problem it has to be system wide. Something that will effect the engine as a whole. I do wonder if you may have a slight exhaust leak.
I have seen exhaust leaks that will make very little noise and will draw air into the exhaust throwing the computer off. How long have you driven the car after the tune? Who did the tune? |
