DYNO Run
Hello there people, I had the opportunity the other day to take my car to the local Dyno shop to check how my car is doing....
My Car: 2010 V6 Camaro 2LT/RS, 6 Speed Manual Transs Here is the list of my engine mods for this test Dyno run: JBA Hearders and Full Exhaust System Injen Intake Throttle Body Spacer RX PCV Can Here is the Result: 3rd Gear: 260 Rear Wheel Horse Power / 243lbs of Torque 4th Gear: 253 Rear Wheel Horse Power / 238 lbs of Torque Does anyone have found a computer programmer for the V6, I have been searching, but I haven't found one. So I can tune all of this and get better HP. I dont think Diablo Sport makes one for V6..Maybe some other company. Please let me know. Thanks Last edited by extrella04; 11-04-2012 at 05:26 PM. |

I'm assuming your manual? pretty good numbers. Trifecta is really the only company out there for tunes. But it will void your powertrain warranty.

Trifecta and IPF tuning are your only options for a custom tune.
Trifecta may be a bit cheaper, but I'd give IPF the look first.

Has the IPF tune been shown to to be able to change parameters/increase power on our ECUs?

Yes, IPF knows what they're doing. Send a pm to IPF tuning here and Jesse will answer any question you have.

Don't Sleep on My V6

+1 GM does not have a flash counter on the LLT like they do on the V8's (not sure about the LFX). So they will not be able to tell you have a tune unless they actually look at the parameters which dealers can't do. All they can do is refresh or update our OEM tunes and know what updates have been performed. So if dealers will go to the extreme and send GM a copy of all that's on you ECU then you maybe in trouble. But that's not 100% as Trifecta (don't know about IPF) has a transparent mode that doesn't allow the tuning to be seen as modded.
