Currently have your 1 7/8 Lts and have had them for a couple years now. See sig line for details. Have to sell the LTs here in a couple weeks since im going custom twin turbos.

Not to worry though, we will be ordering your shorties for the turbos setup since im running 6 bolt heads and the OEMs wont work without extensive grinding etc.

Awesome, i flew in the 61st TopDogs from 97-00. Remember the 6 or 7 jets we lost due to the AB liners liberating and the motors catching fire since the DEEC couldnt regulate the engine speeds. I think you still would have been there. We had one of those in my squadron. Never liked the Pratt and Whimpy motors. Now the GE129 was a beast, Spangdahlem AB. I miss Arizona and all the wide open roads. Didnt much care for the big city but Goodyear was nice, lived 3 miles down the road from the gate.

What Squadron were you? I went thru the TX course in the 63rd way back in 93/94.

So I was able to decipher about half of that. 93 was a while back. Were you part of Desert Storm?

I started my career in the A-10, was assigned to Myrtle Beach AFB, SC in Jan '90. Eight months later we show up at King Fahd Intl airport Saudi and were 2nd unit in country. Sat for the entire build up and practiced high and low angle strafe and AGM-65 employment on desert camels for 5 months (simulated, not real!!!!!!!!) War kicked off, we kick ass!

Got home a month after the war and enjoyed Myrtle Beach for a year then they shut it down. Went to Spangdahlem AB in the Viper and flew it for 11 years. Retired up here at Sheppard AFB instructing newb NATO fighter pilots in the T/AT-38 A/C and now am a simulator instructor in the T-38 here at Sheppard.

The Crew Chiefs were/are the real heros! Those guys are the ones on the line keeping the jets flying and keeping us alive! 24/7 in all weather, dealing with a bunch of spoiled whiny ass pilots.......though, i was not one of them but i saw it first hand.

Kudos to the OP for the work he had to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

310th Tophats/crew chief/AGS 94-98, I did get a chance to work on the GE's working in Vermont from 2010-2013, most likely one of the best Viper squadrons and without a doubt the highest morale/work ethic of any unit I've seen.
