I was 20 when i got the car; i'm 21 now and the points stay on your record for at least a couple years (cant remember exactly).

...havent got a speeding ticket since i got my ss.....*fingers crossed*

I don't understand how you people can afford those payments???

Don't you have other living expenses? How much do you guys earn? Do you have family support to pay your other living expenses, do you live in your car??? WTF??? I just don't understand?

+1 for that! buying my ss has made me a lot more responsible on the road than i used to be back in high school and i can say ive paid for my car.

I'm confused with the math on your post Kannon. You state your yearly is $413 and that comes to $68 a month? Unless I read it wrong. Your $413 must be every 6 months cause @ $68 a month for 12 months that is $816. So I guess your post is for 6months not a year.

Yes I do have rent that i pay every month (little more than my insurance) and car payments (same ballpark as insurance rate). I earn enough at my current job to cover everything, but i skipped college to so i dont have to worry about those nasty student loans.
