Help!! ADM scoop install...

Today I attempted to install my first three mods: CAI's CAI install, Rotofab ww/reloc, and a ADM scoop. The first two werent a problem at all, but I ran into an issue attempting to mount the scoop. The instructions say to swap the honr bolt with one that they include in the kit, however I could not get the bolt to budge. That being said the nut appears to be starting to strip so I immediately stopped. Do you have any suggestions on what to do from here? I cant tell what the bolt is like on the other side so im not sure if I can attempt to remove it that way, but I am open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Leave it, it doesn't need to be removed.

The nut does not move, you have to take off the bolt from the back.

As everyone stated, that nut is fixed. You gotta pull out the bolt.

With that said...

I hope you have skinny hands, because rebolting the scoop sucked a lot especially since you need to hold in the horn while you are doing it, and there is no easy clearance...

You will need to do that by attacking the bolt from above the scoop with an open ended wrench, but you will need to reach around to the bolt the bottom side (by putting your arm through the scoop so you can reengage the wrench on the bolt) as you sloooowly get it tightened back up.

If you have one of those racheting wrenches, you are golden... But if you don't, you will need your fingers so you can make it happen.

It can be done!!!

Man do I feel like an idiot... Ill blame it on the fact that my mod-ing exp is with a toyota suv. Any chance you guys remember the size of the bolt on the other side? Either way, im sure I'll figure it out with trial and error.

Thanks for the help!

I think a 10mm or 12mm socket or wrench will get it off. I used a gear wrench on mine.
