Spohn 2010 Camaro wins at Maple Grove...

We won the American Iron Grudge Race series at Maple Grove on Friday night beating out a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8. Our best ET was a 13.62, best MPH was a hair under 109 and best 60′ was a 2.343 with major wheel hop. We’ll post up more pics and videos sometime on Monday so be sure to check out our blog then. We’ll also post up Steve’s thoughts and notes on running the 2010 Camaro.

To see the videos - click here

Our car is a bone stock 1SS/RS, Manual 6 speed/LS3 car. The Challenger's owner claimed his car was bone stock as well, I didn't see any mods on it so I believe him. Elevation was 1650' and temps were in the 70's.

We plan full suspension upgrades front and rear. We went to the track for bone stock baseline runs. We don't plan to do any mods other than suspension and then we'll go back and see what the improvements are being able to launch the car without skull shaking wheel hop (yes, that bad!). I believe these cars can easily run 12's bone stock once you can get rid of the wheel hop.

We'll document everything as we go on our blog, you can also get instant updates by subscribing to our RSS Feed, becoming a fan of our Facebook page or following us on Twitter.

Thanks guys, it was a blast Friday night! I think every one of the thousand plus people at Maple Grove stopped by to look at our car. People are really excited about this car, the place went CRAZY when we beat the Challenger!

Wow, in that first round it looked like the Challenger had a better jump... Impressive to see the Camaro pull from behind like that.

You guys make some great products. I had a 2000 Camaro SS with full Spohn suspension & my results were top notch. I'll definitely be looking @ your products on my 2010 SS.

Awesome Steve! Congrats on the run and your first kill! I wish I could have been there and seen the runs in person. I can't wait to see what this car runs after you guys work your magic. I am sure you will chop that 60 down big time.
