My first car was a 68 mustang, that I got in 1982, cool at the time. But in 1984 I got an 82 camaro (2nd car) and I considered that sporty for the time.

1998 Black F150 STX Flareside. It looked a lot sportier than the old 4.2 V6 could put out.

First car I ever drove was an Opel Ascona NA 2.0 diesel (57hp/84 lb ft), but I didn't have my driving license yet (just drove it after my dad crashed it). 0-62 in 20 secs !!
My first runaround was a Renault 11 GTD (1.6 diesel, 54hp/78lb ft). 0-62 in 24 secs). Still, didn't complain as my parents let me use it to drive to school My first car I ever bought was definitely sporty, 1999 Lotus Elise S1, 118hp for 714kg... |

My first car was far from sporty, but it did lay the ground work for the great car(s) that came after it. That car was a '77 Cutlass Supreme w/ a 350 cu. inch engine and a 4-barrel carburator. It actually wasn't bad for '77 standards, but I bought that car when it was 9 years old and with a lot of wear. My first car was rusty, and had leaks in the windshield, as well as some wear and tear issues (scratches, one or two dents). It was very reliable and I had great memories from driving it.
