Do any of you fellahs have a definitive solution to an intractable mother-in-law problem that seems to drain away one's joie de vivre?

There simply MUST be a way of sending a witch on her broomstick over the rainbow. (Apologies to Judy Garland.) I'm hoping for a house to land on the old gorilla. If it did, I would even give away the red slippers left protruding from the under the foundations.

tell her your sending her to hawaii or something and walk her to the gate, but dont tell her she is really going to somewhere in the middle of africa

I have a fantastic mother-in-law and it only took three tries to find her....Oh and her daughter ain't half bad either.

I'm 8k miles from my relatives. As irritating as they can be sometimes I'd give anything to be able to see or talk to them more than I do now. It's not easy with the time difference. I'm asleep when they are awake or vise versa. One of the not so great things about the military.

Actually my in-laws are easier to get along with than my own family. and my in-laws are right across the street, we get home cooked meals and have instant babysitting when we need it. Try and make the best of it.

I assume you speak of bottles of iodine. I've already considered that option; it won't work, iodine is much too traceable in the body long after death.
