Umm they were looking for this almost a year ago. If they haven't found it yet. They probably gave up.

Hello all.

I am new to this forum and had a few questions about the car my father left behind when he passed on 6 years ago. It is a hard top 30th anniversary SS Z28 much like the pictures in this thread, but not quite. The roof is white and the stripes go the full length of the car including over the roof. It has less than 45,000 miles on it, 308 hp, supposedly a limited # were made like this one, leather seats, six speed manual, and is in mint condition. It has never seen anything but hwy miles and the engine rumbles so much it makes the windows in the house shake. Was just wondering, besides the emotional value, if this is a car that is worth spending the time and money on keeping in this kind of condition?

Thanks guys,
Kiniska

She had a '79 up until 1992 but she sold it to a friend when I came into the picture. We live in Tallmadge OH (home of Summit racing and some of the nicest street cars on the planet due to that). I was just at the Camaro show last weekend where we test drove one of the V6s and we feel in love (I had honestly been in love since Transformers 1 anyway). So we walked around a bit and spotted a 97 30th Anniversary Camaro. We decided that was our car. I get to blow away an a$$hole prep at school in his 3000GT and my mom gets to have her dream car back. The only bad part is A. hard to find with less that 100,000 miles (I'm only an amateur mechanic) B. She can't drive stick. So here are the specs and hope fully I can find one in Eastern Ohio/Western PA. Any help would be awesome.

I have a 1997 SS Anniversary Camaro with 17,000 miles . Garaged never seen winter . Treat this as a show car maybe showing max .twice a year locally . Very rare . Mine has automatic & TTops .In 1997 had dealer arrange Vortech S trim supercharger set up with Boost & Fuel Pressure guages on A pillar . Has many other enhancements . Love this car which runs like new & the rumble from the twin 3inch stock pipes makes driving a pleasure. Not sure what this car is worth now but will appreciate fast with the return of the 2010 Camaro models . I also have a 1995 Z28 White convertible with tan top .
I really like the new Camaro & tempted to make another purchase . Only problem is I also have a
Black 2009 CTS 4 wheel .Three vehicles for just me & wife too many . She only drives the
CTS as I do . In spring will take out the others for fun . Not sure if the Central Indiana Camaro Club has another car show event in Indy this year . If so will be there .

Also have framed nostolgic Poster from 1997 & two framed pictures of my vehicle on the Indy Track from Prior Central Indiana Shows .

Maybe I can fit one more Camaro in my four car garage .

1997 30th Anniversary Z28 for Sale!

Hi All,
I'm new to the forum, (actually this is the first forum I've ever been on!) so bear with me while I learn the ropes.

I'm going to sell my Z. I bought it off the show room floor and it is immaculate. Always garaged and spit shined. Original everything and has 11,778 respectful miles. I chose the hardtop as I actually prefer them. It's got the V8, 6 speed, and white leather seats and obviously it has electric everything. I'll provide a picture today.

Can anyone provide a few of the best places to post it? I'm in Boise and need to get this to a good home.
I appreciate your responses...

i would say some of the other boards that have a huge 4th Gen following such as camaroz28.com ls1tech.com you could also do autotrader.com and craigslist. when you post it up for sale i would do a full detail on the car and take as many photos as possible(engine bay, door jambs, trunk, undercarriage)

Hi Evil35th, thanks for reply & that's some good info. I'll definately follow your advice, and I guess I'll have to become a member of several forum's.

Are you aware if these forum's do very well when it comes to selling a Camaro on them? I'd like to sell it within a reasonable timeframe, but also want a good price for it.

Sometimes they do and sometimes they dont, it normally depends on the car itself. From what i have seen, 30th Anniversary cars dont normally hang around long.
