I'll be looking for suspension, all exhaust, brakes (I'd like to upgrade to disc on the rear), and I'm sure others as I get further into the car. I'm just looking for sources in Canada if possible.

Thanks!!

Early Birds in Barrie Ontario is the place to go for parts in Canada.
Tell them the guy from Gilbert Guitars sent you.

It runs!!! After ordring a carb kit from Quadrajet Parts in the U.S., and trying to figure out how to put it all back together (as usual, I tore everything apart 3 weeks ago while waiting for the kit) it started up right away!

When I bought it, the guy did start it, but ran extremely rough, and it only started once.....then we couldn't get it running again. Towed it onto a trailer and brought it home, with the family helping me unload and push it into the garage. (I have such a great family.....they only laughed at me for the first 5 minutes!! )

I have a little more comfort now knowing I didn't buy a complete piece of S*^T!!!

Runs a little to high on idle, but that will be an easy fix. The engine is burning a bit of oil, but that didn't surprise me....one more thing to source....just need to decide if I'm going to rebuild this one or chose more HP....decisions, decisions!!

Time to load it onto the hoist and start on the suspension, steering, and brakes, and exhaust (depending on if I keep the original 305 or not though).

Anyways, thought I'd throw an update out there!! I'm stoked!!

I took my 305 and put it in the corner of the garage......I'll keep it in case I ever want to put it bake to stock. Got a bit more HP and a new carb dropping in as well

Well I have all of the front suspension out! Control arms are out for blasting and just waiting on the new coils, then it can all go back together.

I tried to post pics, but site wouldn't let me add any attachements.... I'll try to post some up later.

The Upper Control Arms are a pain to get out (especially the driver's side, lowers aren't bad.

Suspension / steering is all rebuilt or new, got the manifolds out tonight as I am replacing the entire rusted out exhaust.....I really wanted to test run this car to see what kind of shape it's in, but the more I tear into it, the more I want to keep going......now that I have the manifolds out and see what kind of shape it's in behind.....engine swap or engine rebuild...?.....I don't know!!

More Pics...enjoy!
