Hood release not opening hood...? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I just got done washing my car, and I'm drying it so i got to open the hood to try around the edges well as I pull the hood release level it feels as it the cable disconnected it self from the hood itself so the hood never popped up so I could open it. So now I can't get under the hood. Anyone else have this happen? I will be taking it in next week any how to get the rally stripes I had ordered put on, but it just seems weird that this would happen when the car is only a week and a half old.

If you look at any car any brand the first couple of years have the most issues. Take it in and everything will be fixed.
Look at it this way your eliminating the one or two details that were missed.

I'm trying really hard to remind myself that sites like this will congregate and magnify all the normal first year issues and make them sound more common than they are.

The cable was disconnected by the engine....some of them are shy.
