Actually you don't need to.

Just press Aux on the radio until it reaches the "aux out" mode and hit the menu button. You should reach a menu item called "Bluetooth audio" or something like that.

Should be able to pair your phone from there.

I have yet to even bring an iPod or USB cable into my camaro, so it's certainly not needed to pair the gmusic bt connection

I have a 3G, so I'm not 100% sure, but if memory serves, I think that the iPhone 2G lacked hardware needed to enable the stereo bluetooth profile on the OS3.0 upgrade. You can google it to be sure, but I think that was the case. Sorry :/

I need help with this please. My radio sees my phone and phone sees gmmusicconnect. Even let me ad device to radio. Shows up as iPhone 4s. On phone it shows gmmusicconnect and comes from connected quickly to disconnected. Try to do it again. Same thing happens. Please help. Getting frustrated. Thanks

Ok stupid question. Can I listen to xm and have my iPhone GPS connected through gmusicconnect so I can hear it through my speakers? If not does any one know a workaround for this? Thanks!
