Nothing that can't be fixed by rolling up the sleeves and using a little elbow grease.
You have some of the sharpest minds working on it.. I'm sure they will get it sorted out. |

I'm sure no one is more disappointed the you are, speedster, that you didn't get to let that motor rip on the dyno last night. I'm sure the guys at NRE will have it sorted out in no time and it will be well worth the long wait. In the meantime, I have to make more popcorn...

Ha, I for one am actually glad, LOL Now I know you are at least human. Now I know that Me and PQ aren't the only ones who have "Issues" with the things we do to our cars and that the Fix It BUG left Alabama.
Ok just kidding, sorry to hear about the ignition issue, but I am sure that you will be able to get it fixed. With as much stuff as you have done to this Beast it is amazing that the only little issue is an ignition module. |

Thanks Everyone !!
We were just so fried last night we couldn't think straight. Tom and the guys were there until late. They were all running on empty too. I give them a ton of credit. You would not believe how busy they are there. That place is crazy busy. It will be all sorted out today and the dyno pulls will be done. Just wanted to see it in person running before C5Fest. I will say that when we ran it with no load it sounds like a beast in the dyno room. Throttle repsonse was instant - even with 2 cylinders not firing. I sent GTA a pic from my phone that he can post when possible. I am in LAX right now but can't the pic from the phone to my netbook at the moment. The engine looks pretty wild. If you remember it was shiny and bling-blingy which is too much for me, so they silver anodized the whole thing and the stainless exhaust is ceramic "chrome" plated. Everything else has been anodized black. Should look clean when back in the SST. Take Care. Gotta Catch my flight back to FLA !! |
