Air Kicks On With Knob Off

2014 LT1 V6 automatic stock.

This morning I noticed my A/C kick on even though my knob was in the Off setting (Off+Bi-directional Air Flow on left knob, A/C at 1/4 Blue Line on right knob). Cold start, and after about of minute of driving, the touchscreen showed Level 1 fan with A/C kick on even though I never touched the knob. It turned off on its own, but it repeated that scenario a couple more times. One time I turned the knob up to Level 3 or 4 and back off again, and it responded appropriately.

Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this in their ride? Not sure if it warrants any consideration, or if it's just some accepted buggy function to the Camaro that I just have to deal with.

Do u have any codes?
if not try re-calibrating the HVAC control module
Remove the HVAC control module fuse for a minimum of 10 seconds
reinstall
start the engine
Wait 40 seconds for the HVAC control module to self-calibrate
Do not adjust any controls while re-calibrating

Same thing happens to me, the knob just feels loose. I usually just flick it on and off quickly and that keeps it off until it happens again lol.

Could just be the car doing an automatic turn on because of humidity levels.
