Dang, that looks like fun. I wish I could get hubby to race me in his Crossfire or heck, I'd even race him in his V8 Camaro. I've beat a few of those in my time & wouldn't even care if he blew me away. It would just be FUN! Oh well, Guess I will just keep having all the fun for the family.

Don't know if its because we are both running PZero All-Season tires. Also, on my last launch it felt like I ran over a speed bump, I'm thinking I had some wheel hop. I have BMR Subframe Bushing Inserts, so I may need trailing arms now.

Met a V6 Mustang owner that was running also. The one time I saw he ran a 14.1 sec. I talked to him and he had 3.73 gears, tune, manual trans, and a few other things. Was a cool guy, said if his wife had a Camaro he would be competitive with her like my wife and I are. He also recommended I put Lower Control Arms on the rear, said that the gears will make the live axle jump.

Overall, we both had fun.

Video of one of my runs. I wanted to get my Torque Track Recorder going, but I can't convert videos on it with the overlays. It looks like my car slides a little bit on launch.

Our time slips, my best run was the 2nd one, wife's was the last one (she wants to break into the 14 second range badly). We both had a 1/4 tank of gas, but I didn't change the air pressures. The DA was around 4200 starting out, then by the time we left it was around 3500. I was car #401, wife was #400.

Wait, was that mustang manual blue ? Was it a guy named Jay ? He bought it around that time and was just starting to modify it. He's the only modified blue v6 2011+ mustang manual that is modifed in okc metro area just about.... He's a part of a racing group called Illusions and frequents the track!

It was a grabber blue mustang and it was a Manual. He said he had gears on it and LCA's. I think he had drag radials on also. I don't know his name, I am pretty bad at names. Was a cool Mustang owner though.

Yeah, the driver looks like him too, was a pretty young guy. I know he wanted to hear my wife's Borla's, but he might go deaf if he hears her Borla ATAK with BBK Headers now.

I also just ordered my wife some BMR Lower Control Arms and myself some BMR Trailing Arms. Now we just need some tires that can hook better.

Good job on the LCA's. Let her try practicing leaving off of idle, 1500, 1800, & 2000rpm. One of those will produce a decent 60' time. Maybe a 2.0x. She should drop another 10th or two.

I installed my trailing arms while my wife was at bingo then when she got home she wanted to install hers. Found out you can not install the new ones while the car is on ramps, it has to be on jacks or you can't move the axle. We are going to take the cars for a joy ride tomorrow to see if they squeek.

She did get dirty though, I broke the torque on the bolts and she took them off. Next weekend we go to the track if the weather holds out.

Went to the track today and we were doing pretty well till the track got crowded and we were waiting a long time between runs. Last runs my car did not have top end power any more, I'll see if I can find a way to correct that. Track had not been used in 3 months and we were the first ones down it. They kept trying to get rubber built back into the track, was taking forever. Wife did improve her 60' a little bit, think a few more tweaks and we can get it lower.

I tried to make the video a little better this time. Enjoy.
