CAI need tune for gains?

If i get a CAI do I need a tune to benefit or can I get away with no tune and some benefits?

You don't need a tune and you will gain a few HP. As far as which one to get..... Good luck there are a lot.

CAI's have been talked to death about. There has to be 10 bazillion threads on them. I'm sure one or two have the answers you have.

Depends on the intake. If you are asking about the CAI Inc intakes you do not need a tune and without one you should see somewhere in the neighborhood of 15rwhp. You can add a scoop as well and you will show about 20rwhp. If you have any other questions feel free to shoot me a PM or give us a call.

I don't sell parts, but I do marry up the end results of a build.
The vararam intake works very well. It gives your motor the best opportunity for outside air and not the engine bay air which effects your IAT scaling.

Seems like every time I calibrate a vehicle with a vararam installed, after the dyno tune and we move to the street test and tune, and I have to add additional fuel because under actual conditions in the upper RPM band it starts to lean out more than I'm commanding.

Keep in mind the Vararam is not out for 2012 or 2013 cars yet.
