Hi Jeff,
First, I'd like to welcome you to Camaro5 and congrats on your 2012 Camaro.
For me, I would say the best bang for your buck as far as HP would be a Super Charger, but thats just me.
I'm sure you will get many replies on this subject. Good luck with your Camaro and may it provide you with alot of enjoyment!

Jeff, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Hey welcome to the club... I put a K&N Typhoon CAI system on my 2012, and just added a Magnaflow 16580 cat-back system to it that woke it up BIG time.

excellent Suggestions

I was looking for less expensive stuff than a supercharger,
items like the cold air intake, and exhaust.

Is there a good computer chip out there that will help gas mileage and performance, I know K&N is good stuff but are they worth the extra $$ compared to something like this???

When your talking about a CAI and keeping dirt out of your engine this isn't an area I would skimp on. Buy a reputable brand and have the piece of mind your getting a quality product not only for your engines protection, but legitimate design that does improve performance.

Cold air intake and headers

CAI, inc makes the best cold air intake IMO.
