Good Lawd, I hope so. Here's my guesses...

First, I thought the G8 was eventually going to be built here....and eventually the G8 GXP.

Then, I saw someone post something about the CTS coupe. Could it be? Maybe...

But, a G8 coupe? Hmmm..... If the G8 and GXP could all be built on the same platform, so could the coupe. After all, there's like 30+ vehicles that could be built on the Zeta platform. The possibilites are limitless....almost.

But, Chevelle.....................

#1) GTO, based off Camaro.
#2) Some sort of Buick
#3) well, seems like there isn't really anything to go on. It could be litterally anything. Most likely a Chevy, to claim Chevelle is wishful thinking. Would be awesome though.

Read GMinsidenews.com they cover this at length. It's not a camaro based car, it's a Zeta platform car. Likely to be a Buick or Cadillac. Buick is thinking Zeta based car as a Lucerne replacement, and Cadillac is replacing the STS/DTS with a Zeta car. They have to be made somewhere and they aren't going to ship those from Aussieland so making them in the same plant as the Camaro is obvious. (that isn't to say that they might plan some different Zeta based Chevy sometime down the line, but this announcement isn't about that)

Zeta and Sigma are merging platforms to essencially create one, Super-RWD-platform. It's either going to be a new Cadillac, or...a new Pontiac, say: Coupe 60?

This is a no brainer. It will be a GTO.

They can't talk about that now because folks would hold off on a Camaro purchase.

Also it would steal Camaro thunder right now to even discuss it.

It will make a larger profit since it will cost more and be easier to engineer.

It's a good thing they DON'T talk about it because I would probably wait for the GTO.

Honestly it isn't. It really is the Caddy or Buick next. Been confirmed by people in the know on other sites. The next Pontiac (based on Zeta) we might see is the G8 coupe but that would be built down under again. Do a search on Zeta platform on GMinside news and you'll be reading for the next two days, but all the info is there and I've been following it for years.

Hardly, just am up on the latest news from GM. I do think that they might come up with a Chevy Zeta at some point in the future but I think GM's has to think about Caddy and Buick first.
