Shft knob

I bought a really cool EPCO shift knob I'm going to install, and have seen the Barton Industries video on removing the pressed on shift knob. Aside from growing Herculean muscles, is there a trick to removing the knob that anyone knows? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Whoa! Doing a search through Google on this site, I saw where someone commented that he broke his shift knob on his 2013, as it has a setscrew. Anyone know? That'd be different than the 2012s-2012s.

No reason for Google, the site search will find plenty of info and there is a guide posted: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t+knob+removal

JimE: Thanks for the above reply, it's helpful. I apologize for the curt reply to your comment to me on the main forum; I read it before reading the above reply. Sorry, and again, thanks for the helpful info.

Just here to try and help everyone enjoy their car.

When you get it swapped, post some pics if you can.
