im guessing for radio controls and audo input...otherwise you'll have an ipad and a GM radio wiring harness

Behind the Ipad will be an Alpine CDA-117 that will act as the "brains" of the operation. By doing this instead of the processor route we can add stuff like bluetooth, steering wheel controls, retain onstar, Ipod/Iphone capabilities. And best of all it is still cheaper than doing a bit one or ms8. . . Besides the fact that it looks cooler. . . .

Nice install!! I hope the owner takes those pics of the previous install and goes back to the previous installer and demands a refund! That's crap!
Anyway, glad you guys are taking care of him, looking to be on the sickest installs in a 5th gen yet!!
