Passenger side wastegate needs moved completely. Cut off passage and weld closed, then we put that gate off the turbine housing.
And we notch out the driver side w/g passage for linkage clearance.

Those are cast huh? We've never had great luck welding that up. Any tips? I actually work for a specialty welding company but mostly alloy tig welding. Chrome, stainless, inconel etc. Yall just pre heat and use a normal carbon wire?

Not that I don't have faith, but Kevin has it jigged up and knows exactly what to do since he has done so many.

Actually I should say Kyle, since Kyle "weldy" does the welding and Kevin would just throw the parts at him.

Our cast parts are a very high end alloy and they weld good. We TIG weld them with 308 stainless rod. Just clean them really well first since you have used them now.

Cleaning with pool acid works well.
We weld in a 1/4" thick piece of steel.

One thing that did stick we me after we got off the phone. If you run skinnies up front all the time, you're a drag guy. Just accept it and put in an auto.

Yea but i hate them lol. I've just been so preoccupied with the rest of this build that i havent looked into getting a wider rim. It's unbelievable the amount of time and effort it takes when u are doing it all yourself in friends garage's on weekends or time off with parts that no1 really has talked about using. If it ties up 3 days thats really atleast 4 weeks cause im lucky if i get one full day a week i work shutdowns. I spent 3 months diagnosing a cut oring inside the bottom fuel injector lol. Amazing the grief that will cause bc it noids good.
