Doc's 2013 1LE and family....Also wrecked fbodies
I picked up a 2013 Triple Black 1LE on July 4th 2015 Which just so happen to be my anniversary as well but the gf was so excited for me that I was in no trouble at all. Car has 20,000 miles on it and was delivered to a more local dealership to me from Miami, FL. Im on the other coast of Florida and it seemed like a long wait (24 hours)
Long story short i love it. Its a 2SS/RS 6 speed manual of course. In this thread I plan on posting pics of my car and also other wrecked fbodies I get to see at work just for fun. As of now my car only has a K&N Cold Air Intake. Just oredered some parts from phasetek and waiting on them. I did however do a full detail on the car (12 hours) and it definitely made a huge difference. Here are some pics of the car and its family members.... Thank you for reading. All cleaned up The 1LE with my 67 RS The 1LE with my 99 SS My GTO And the first wrecked picture from work. A ZL1 from when they first came out MANY MORE TO COME

Hey thanks man and you are correct the car was in Miami. I stopped by a dealership on my way home from work to look at a drop dead gorgeous 2SS at a Buick delearship and ot was sold just before i got there. I had seen a cyber grey metallic SS online when i was looking at another dealership that was also a M6 and i passed by it on the way so i figured id go look at it and it just didnt do it for me but the lady that greeted me at the dealership convinced me to come inside and see what else they could get in and i was very specific about what i wanted and didnt think a 1LE was in my price range. I had told her i wanted a M6, 2SS/RS and preferably black so she pulls up the list and we strolled through probably about 10 and nothing really worked they were either to high miles or wrong year. As i was about to leave the 1LE was on the 2nd page of the list online and it was the last car but it didnt say 1LE on it at all just said 2013 Camaro V8 manual. She pulled up the pics and i asked her how many miles (20k) and i said thats exactly what i would love to have if the price was right. By lunch the next day i was signing papers and day 3 they had it brought up overnight and it thats pretty much it. I couldnt believe it i thought for sure it was going to fall theough or it had sold but it didnt. Thank you again.

Just a quick review of some products i purchased recently from phastek and the overall experience. I purchased some emblem inserts to change my red SS emblems to black on the inside. Im doing more black and chrome look to the car. So i did the inserts on the SS emblems and left the chrome or polished part alone. Also did the same with the chevrolet bowtie emblems. Saw some really nice aftermarket emblems online i really liked and i might change to those one day. Just a satin black look.
I also purchased a polished fuse box cover and radiator cap with the 2SS/RS etched into them. I received the radiator cap first in the mail and installed it immediately. Easiest thing ive done yet. Took all of 3 seconds. I waited about a week and had not received the fuse box cover so i called and spoke with Ricardo (i may have mispelled) really helpful and jumped right on it. There was a small mix up which was understandable and it was sent that day and received it within 24 hours of making the phone call. I rip through the box like a kid at christmas and remove the bubble rap and notice some spots on the fuse box cover that were under that finish and some bubbling. I called Ricardo the next day and sent him some pics of the fuse box cover and also some pics of the radiator cap. After noticing the fuse box cover finish i looked closely at the cap and it had some pitting. Long story short Ricardo apologized heavily for this, which wasnt needed really, ya i was upset but he treated it with serious urgency to make it right. Fast forward they 2 day me a new fuse box cover and cap in perfect shape and also a t-shirt from phastek. Dont focus on the bad of this experience and here is why....ive worked for performance companies that ship world wide before and nothing makes the day go by slower than a guy calling and blowing a simple mistake or issue way out of proportion. These companies make lots of these products everyday and every now and then your going to have some less than perfect products that can simply be replaced. Its how the company handles it that seperates them from the rest. Id rather have 5 bad covers and good customer service than 1 bad cover and poor customer service. Ive been on the other end of those phone calls and its a challenge sometimes to keep your mouth shut. Ricardo and phastek went over and above to make this experience excellent even with a small issue that ended uo being resolved like nothing. I love my new ones and i think they will look killer on my car. This experience has earned my business and positive word of mouth from now on. I will post pictures soon of the newly installed.
