Got BFT HOME! Only thing is there is still an oil leak but we will fix that later. Here is a video of the truck with the cam. (Its still processing so if it doesn't show for a second, come back.

He has stock rockers and aftermarket lifters. Skip said it sounds fine, but there is an oil leak on the pan. But he doesn't think its off the rockers.

the rockers arent causing the leak. I was meaning more towards that they arent lashed quite right. either that or they arent getting sufficient oil flow

they do sound a bit clicky, to put it in technical terms.

It sounds like the idle is set a bit high and perhaps a small vacuum leak. The idle sounds like it is up around 1100. Bring it down to about 850 and see if it lopes. If there is an automatic choke make sure it isnt hanging.Throw a little "Prolong" in it and it might quiet down some on the top end. Just my 2 cents for what it is worth.

Turns out there is no oil leak, that was from the mechanic and he forgot to clean it up.

Cleaned it up and it hasn't come back yet. We did notice that we went all of 11 miles and the tank dropped by an 1/8th. Bwahaha. I dont look forward to keeping that truck full.

Ordered some Road Wrap for the trip to C5FII since I dont have a clear bra! I remember at every gas station we stopped at I got out and wiped the bugs off and inspected rock chips. Excited to see how well this stuff works.

Also sent my license plate light and my foglight back to AAC for a replacement since they both were going out. Hopefully the get back in time for the fest!

Going to try to do 3 layers of wax between now and the 12th... Want her as protected as possible. Also getting the oil changed and the tires aligned next tuesday.

ITS GETTING CLOSE GUYS!! 12 DAYS!
